Face cleansers

There's a reason why there are facial cleansers. These products are made for different skin types to address skin concerns that you may have. It can range from being oily, dry, normal to combination, etc. Its best to consult a beauty consultant on what facial cleanser would be best for you.
Please no bar soaps. Why? Because bar soaps leave residue on the skin which can lead to breakouts, clogged pores, and so forth.
My personal favorite cleanser is Estee Lauder's Perfectly Clean. Its made for normal/combination skin which I have and it leaves my skin feeling soft and just CLEAN!

MAC matchmaster foundation

I totally love this foundation not only is it fabulous in pictures! but it has medium to full coverage with a semi matte finish.
The translucent pigments blend with your intensity level as well as your undertone to give you a more eventone and flawless finish. This foundation is great at line minimizing as well. Picture sensitive too!
The color I use varies between 5.0 and 6.0.

Swatches Heavanly Creature

So here is a swatch from MAC's Heavanly Creature mineralize shadow in Magnetic Attraction.
For a more dramatic and intense effect- wet shadow brush before application.

My favorite False Lashes

My favorite false lashes right now is MAC's #4 LASHES. They make my lashes fuller and longer.
They are also one of Kim K's faves!

You can mix your foundation w Estee Lauder's Advance Night Repair for a tinted moisturizer.

Then Add MAC's Lustre Drop in Sun Rush on your cheekbones , bridge of your nose, cubic (lips) to give your skin that glowy look.

How to make your eye shadows vibrant

The secret to making your eye shadows pop is in one little product.
Your eye base / primer!!!
My favorite is MAC Paint Pot : You can use Painterly or Soft Ochre.

Apply on your lid or up to your brow bone depending on how dramatic and intense you want the color of your shadow to be.
Wait a minute and add your colors.
Huge difference right?

Lip liner : Apply first or last?

A lot people ask this question.
I used to apply lip liner first and then fill in the lipstick but I found out that applying the lipstick first and then outlining the lips really makes a difference.
The lips look more defined and this helps more with lipstick bleeding.
If your wearing a red lipstick definitely add lip liner last because red lip is meant to have that finished polish look around the lips.

Also, if you want to change the lip color of the lipstick blend your lip liner in with your lipstick on your lips.

Extended Play Mascara–MAC Cosmetics

I love this mascara.
Great for defining your lashes. However it is not volumizing. So if your in a rush and just need to add some mascara on real quick go for it.

You don’t have to worry about it smudging or getting messy when your putting mascara on your bottom lashes because the brush is really thin.

7 new ways to beat acne

By Carly Cardellino, Cosmopolitan.com
We get it, acne totally sucks—especially when you're an adult. But the next time you wake up to a new-found zit, don't freak. Instead, put one of these blemish-blasting products to the test, so you can face the day with confidence—and a clearer complexion.

Blot and Run

Patting your T-zone with blotting paper is the easiest way to absorb excess oil on the fly. These super-colorful ones from NYX Cosmetics Blotting Papers, $6 each, nyxcosmetics.com, not only rid your skin of unwanted sheen, but they also help treat your trouble spots, too.
The Blemish Control Blotting Papers (shown here in purple) contain salicylic acid to help treat existing pimples, while the Tea Tree Oil-infused sheets (pictured in peach) work to prevent future zits.

Smart Sudser

Overwashing often leads to dehydrated skin, which prompts your body to produce more oil, causing more breakouts—and nobody wants that. This uber-chic cleansing system, Clearasil PerfectaWash, $14.99, doles out the proper dosage of the two percent salicylic acid face wash to make sure you don't use too much and dry out your skin.
Simply hold your hand under the no-touch dispenser and lather up!

Turn Up The Heat

Once a week it's good to swap out your regular cleanser for one that offers up a deep cleaning; this helps unclog blocked pores, which are the culprit of most blemishes.
Look for one that draws out impurities (dirt, oil, bacteria), like Bioré Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser, $6.45. It uses zeolite, a mineral clay that warms on contact with water to help loosen up tight pores, allowing dirt, oil, and bacteria to be cleared out. The salicylic acid it contains helps to fight future breakouts by dissolving oil on skin.

Go Under Cover

Concealer is often your best friend when you have a pesky pimple, but it's important to remember to treat the area with salicylic acid before applying makeup to keep it from exacerbating the issue.
Neutrogena SkinCearing Blemish Concealer, $8.43, allows you to do both at the same time, thanks to the salicylic acid it contains. Genius!

Ex(foliation) Marks The Spot

Daily exfoliation is key when it comes to clear skin. But to avoid over-scrubbing (which can also trigger your skin to react and flare up) it's best to use a mild formula that contains two percent salicylic acid paired with a physical exfoliator, like a washcloth, facial brush, etc.
L'Oréal Paris Go 360º Clean Anti-Breakout Facial Cleanser, $6.99, lorealparisusa.com, comes equipped with its own tiny facial massager (a Scrublet as they call it), which helps sloughs off dead skin cells that can block your pores and result in an unsightly zit.

Wipe Out

If your skin has more oil than an Exxon station, reach for a product to help control how much your complexion is churning out.
Yes To Tomatoes Blemish Clearing Facial Towelettes, $7.99, yestocarrots.com, contain lycopene, which contains anti-inflammatory properties to help calm redness, while salicylic acid works to minimize sebum (aka oil) secretion.
Plus, whether or not you're acne-prone, it's never good to go to bed with makeup on, so swipe your skin clean with one of these!

Smooth Operator

Pimples don't stand a chance when salicylic, glycolic, phytic, and lactic acids unite. The four ingredients work together to exfoliate, lighten past acne marks, and hydrate skin, helping to heal your current blemish and prevent new ones from forming.
This quadruple threat is found in Beauty Rx Skincare by Dr. Schultz Advanced Exfoliating Therapy Pads, $70 for 50 pads, beautyrx.com, which are best for normal, combination, and oily skin. Doctor's orders: On alternating nights, swipe pad over your face after you've cleansed, avoiding eyes and lips. For the first two weeks of use, rinse off thoroughly with water after 15 minutes; from there on, leave the solution on overnight. Lastly, say buh-bye to blemishes!
