Blending Makeup Brush = Smokey Eyes

On a daily basis I meet so many people who come to me for a smokey eye to go out. What everyone doesn't understand is that, its about having the right eyeshadow brush.

Using a flat shadow brush apply C shade across your whole lid , you may go all the way up to your brow bone.
A,B
C,D

Choose either B shade to apply in your crease.

Use D shade for blending with your blending brush (see below).

There are different brands of blending brushes you can use (natural or synthetic). Natural brushes are a little more pricey but an investment since they last for years. Synthetic brushes need to replaced more often.
The bristles all pretty much look the same. It has a fluffy soft tip.

Ok back to the blending part.

Using shade D make sure you don't put a lot of product on your brush. Always start with just a little bit, you can always add more if needed.
You are going to start at the corner of your lid.

Making circular motions blending right above and into your crease.

Use shade A to highlight under your brow bone.
Keep practicing you will be an expert in no time.

CAN'T FORGET MY BRUSHES!!!

I want my lashes longer, fuller, dramatic, defined...

Ever saw that mascara commercial and go  " i want my lashes to look like that" ? Guess what. Those models have false, yes, fake lashes on. Your lashes are not going to look like that at all with just mascara. So its just pretty much a propaganda.

On the positive note.. there are mascaras out there that can make your lashes look gorgeous.

Here are a few vocabulary words used to describe lashes.

Define: natural but show up just a tint more. (Lancome Definicil)

Lengthening: longer (MAC Zoom)

Volume: fuller lashes (Estee Lauder Sumptuous)

Dramatic: Thick and All of the above and more !!! (Lancome Hypnose, Estee Lauder Magnascopic, MAC Opulash, False Lashes)

Dont forget to get a new mascara after 6 weeks!!!

How to apply loose pigments (makeup)

Pigments can get really messy.

Tools you can use:
Pigments can be used in many different ways.
You can use as shadows, blush, highlighter .
Some other pretty neat ways you can use those loose pigments is by  actually mixing it with clear gloss for a cool lipgloss or clear nailpolish for a funky color.

If you wet the tip of your shadow brush you get a more smooth look.

So if your not sure what to do with those pigments here are some tips you can use at home.

Natural Blush Look

If your looking for something really soft you might want to go with a look like this

However here is a very important tip: The thicker and stiffer the bristles on your blush brush is the more product its gonna grab!
A lot of people are not aware of this wonder why do I get so much blush on and by the time your trying to blend it out your makeup is a total mess.
Try using a due fibre brush. You can refer below.

Then take a highlighter it can a liquid or powder and brush right above your cheekbones to give your skin that luminous look.

Face Primer- Do I need it?

A lot of people ask, "Do I really need a face primer?" . Yes, you do. I started just recently using a primer. Its amazing and yes it does make a difference. It just gives you that flawless eventone smooth finish all put together.
Try the primer on one side of your face and try just your foundation on the other side.
The texture is totally different and your foundation tends to glide on smoother on a primer so it doesn't look rough or caked on.

Few primers that I think are great MAC Skin Base Visage, Smashbox Primer, Shisedo
